Laura Mullikin

Laura has a passion for working with individuals and couples from all walks of life. Whether navigating feelings of anxiety or depression, grief, or other mental health challenges, Laura’s goal is to help clients develop new coping mechanisms to improve their lives. She is also passionate about encouraging clients to live self-compassionate lives, especially through life transitions, personal struggles, or concerns related to body image and diet culture.
Laura tailors her approach to meet the needs of each individual or couple, utilizing modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Self-Compassion (K. Neff). Her goal is to meet clients where they are and assist in paving a way forward.
Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Aurora University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
At home, Laura enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her two daughters and two furry friends.
