Meet Paige:

Paige is a counseling intern who works primarily with adults and adolescents. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rockford University and will graduate in the fall from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where she received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. Her primary areas of focus include anxiety and depression. She is interested in learning more about couples and marriage work and OCD.

Her clinical approach is grounded in self-compassion, mindfulness, attachment theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). She places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and believes that meaningful change is fostered through a safe, collaborative, and trusting connection. Building a strong therapeutic bond is central to her work.

Clients can expect a genuine, grounded, and supportive approach that encourages open and authentic conversation. She recognizes that each individual’s path to healing and growth is unique and works to meet clients where they are, supporting them at a pace that feels appropriate and respectful. Her office offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with ambient lighting and thoughtfully chosen décor. Subtle reflective accents, disco balls, and checkered design elements add character and warmth, creating a comforting and engaging space.

Outside of her professional role, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, friends, and family, as well as with their four cats and wiener dog. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing video games, learning to play the guitar, and going to all types of concerts, but mostly rock. Her absolute favorite thing is to watch horror and true crime related TV shows and movies.
