Rachell Alvarado

Rachell Alvarado is a bilingual therapist who works with children, teens, adults, and families navigating emotional challenges, relational struggles, identity exploration, and life transitions. She offers therapy in both English and Spanish to ensure culturally responsive, accessible care for diverse communities.

 

Rachell’s therapeutic approach is grounded in Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy. She creates a warm, collaborative environment where clients feel safe to explore their emotional world, develop insight into relational patterns, and begin healing the wounds that have impacted their sense of self. Her work emphasizes empowerment, emotional safety, and deep connection.

 

Rachell earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Beloit College and received her graduate education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler University. She provides in-person therapy to individuals and families seeking meaningful growth and emotional healing.

 

Clients working with Rachell can expect a compassionate, curious, and steady presence. She is especially passionate about supporting those who are feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or burdened by anxiety, grief, or family dynamics. Her goal is to walk alongside clients as they reconnect with their inner strength and build more secure, fulfilling relationships.

 

Outside of her clinical work, Rachell enjoys reading fiction and memoirs, watching character-driven films, hiking local trails, and staying active through tennis. These passions allow her to stay grounded, creative, and engaged—both personally and professionally.
